Welcome to ENGLISH TEACHING PROGRAM IN SHENZHEN, CHINA
Spend a year teaching English conversation in a public school of Shenzhen, China’s economic miracle adjacent to Hong Kong. This vibrant city of five million has modern housing, a warm climate, and a top-rated school system.
Learn Mandarin Chinese and gain a year’s experience in one of the world’s most important and most interesting cultures. This well-established, large program is supported by the Shenzhen government and is entering its tenth year. The program begins with three weeks in China for training in English teaching methods and in Chinese language (4 levels; the beginning course requires no prior study of Chinese).
Participants have come from throughout the USA and from Canada, Great Britain, and Australia. They are graduates of more than 180 colleges and universities, and range in age from early 20s to late 50s.
